BUILT ON FAITH, FAMILY, & THE COURAGE TO DREAM.

OVERVIEW

Grounded in faith, family, and curiosity, I approach life and work with a deep appreciation for growth, connection, and service. I am inspired by the people who surround me and strive to live with integrity, humility, and Christ-like care for others. Curiosity drives both my creative practice and my relationships. I love to learn, to dream boldly, and to grow alongside others. Above all, I hope to become someone who thinks deeply, serves faithfully, and contributes work and relationships rooted in purpose.

Adulthood
(Ages 18–25)
An independently conducted research project examining emotional attachment, cognitive development, & identity formation during early adulthood. Presented as a TEDx talk, this work challenged oversimplified cultural narratives surrounding relationships & growth, advocating for a more nuanced understanding of psychological development between ages 18 & 25.

Engagement

Ongoing · In and
Beyond Academia
Grounded in a commitment to service, my involvement spans both academic & independent initiatives. Through my sorority, I actively support THON at Penn State & the Arthritis Foundation (Alpha Omicron Pi philanthropy), alongside continued volunteer work with animal shelters, hospice centers, military veterans, & environmental projects. These experiences inform my understanding of leadership, responsibility, & the role of service in shaping meaningful work.

why architecture?

Architecture became the meeting place between what I was trained to do & what I was compelled to create. It united logic & imagination; numbers, structure, & engineering... with creativity, design, & innovation. I am drawn to this field because I believe I can contribute something thoughtful & distinct: a return to intentionality in how we design & build. As architecture continues to modernize, we risk losing the meaning embedded in form, material, & process. I am inspired by eras & structures where nothing was arbitrary, where cathedrals carried symbolism in stone, & Victorian design celebrated beauty, detail, & craft. Architecture, to me, is not simply shelter or style; it is storytelling made permanent. I pursue this discipline to design with purpose, to honor process, & to create spaces that remember why they exist.

Why Dance?

For much of my life, I learned how to adapt before I learned how to speak. Growing up as a military child meant constant movement, shifting environments, & navigating new cultures & expectations. I became fluent in communication, yet unfamiliar with expressing my own truth. For a long time, my voice existed quietly, shaped more by circumstance than intention. Dance changed that. Through movement, I found a language that required no permission & no translation. It taught me discipline, resilience, & presence, but more importantly, it gave form to what I once struggled to articulate. Dance allowed me to become many things while remaining entirely myself... each style a reflection, each performance an offering drawn from lived experience. What once felt silent became expressive; what was internal found motion. I share dance because it carries emotion, invites connection, & reminds us that expression, like identity, is both deeply personal & meant to be shared.
